In 2025, Soft Touch has launched two new types of welding gloves that combine traditional heat protection with additional resistance to either cold or cuts – all while maintaining flexibility. Developed in collaboration with leading European welding supply distributors, the gloves meet the growing needs of welders working in more specialized and challenging environments.
One of the new models offers certified cold protection according to EN 511. Designed for outdoor work or cold industrial settings, it provides warmth without sacrificing comfort or dexterity.

The other type includes several models with cut protection level D – a high level of resistance that is increasingly in demand in applications involving sharp tools or materials. These gloves are designed to handle combined risks without becoming bulky and are ideal in situations where both heat and cut protection are crucial.

- As work environments and safety requirements evolve, we aim to meet the changing needs of professional users. These new welding gloves go beyond heat protection, addressing two often underestimated risks in welding – cold and cuts, says Magnus Gustafsson, Purchasing Manager at Soft Touch.
The new welding gloves are available from Soft Touch’s warehouse and through selected distributors of PPE and welding accessories. For more information, visit www.softtouch.se or contact Magnus Gustafsson.
