New Soft Touch Welding Gloves with Innovative Protection from Cut Injuries
Soft Touch AB presents entirely new welding gloves featuring level D cut protection (in accordance with EN388). This offers a significantly higher level of protection than other welding gloves currently appear capable of providing. By combining traditional welding protection with enhanced cut resistance, a new standard for safety in the welding industry is set.
The concept for welding gloves with cut protection has been developed in close collaboration with leading distributors of welding accessories in Europe. Soft Touch AB designed a solution to meet the growing demand for enhanced protection against cut injuries. In order to achieve level D cut protection in accordance with EN388, a new type of lining made of Kevlar® was specially developed in collaboration with DuPont™. The result, in the form of Soft Touch's new welding gloves, means that welders can now reduce the risk of work-related injuries and increase productivity on the job.
